Ghost: The Musical, adapted by Bruce Joel Rubin (the film’s screenwriter), tells the story of Sam, a murdered man who stays as a ghost to protect his girlfriend Molly with the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown, featuring music by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. It follows the plot of the popular 1990 film, blending romance, comedy, and suspense with special effects to recreate iconic scenes like the pottery wheel moment. The musical premiered on Broadway in 2012 and has since toured internationally.
