The Premiere Playhouse is pleased to announce the addition of two talented arts professionals to its administrative leadership team as the organization prepares for an exciting new season of theatre, education and community engagement.
Samanda Nunnery has joined The Premiere Playhouse as Development + Marketing Coordinator, Executive Assistant. Bringing together a distinctive blend of nonprofit communications, marketing and theatrical production experience, Samanda will support the organization’s fundraising, marketing initiatives and executive operations. Her background includes years of work in theatre as a stage manager and costume designer/builder, providing her with both administrative expertise and a deep understanding of the creative process. In addition to her work with The Premiere Playhouse, Samanda is a freelance graphic designer serving nonprofit organizations including Indivisible 605. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Sioux Falls Pride, where she oversees digital marketing, merchandising, and gala silent auction initiatives while contributing to volunteer training and event planning.
Joining the organization as Education + Engagement Coordinator, Artistic Associate, Emma Madeja brings a lifelong passion for theatre education and performance. Emma has spent much of her life studying and performing in theatre while building a professional career in vocal instruction, customer service and youth development. Most recently, she served as a voice instructor at Effervescent Voice Academy and worked as a B2B Partner and Web Developer for Dakota Workwear. She specializes in voice instruction for students of all ages and enjoys teaching acting, voice and dance for K–12 learners. Patrons may already recognize Emma from The Premiere Playhouse’s Season 23 productions of Hairspray, where she portrayed Tracy Turnblad, and Legally Blonde, where she appeared as a member of Delta Nu. In recognition of both her advanced artistry and strong commitment to the organization, Emma was presented with the Artistic Director’s Award of Excellence during the 2025–2026 Premiere Champions of Excellence Awards.
Together, Samanda and Emma represent an exciting investment in The Premiere Playhouse’s future. Their diverse professional backgrounds, artistic experiences and passion for serving the community will strengthen the organization’s ability to expand educational opportunities, deepen community engagement, enhance patron experiences, and continue building a vibrant home for theatre in the Sioux Falls region.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Samanda and Emma to our administrative team,” said Executive Artistic Director Oliver Mayes. “Each brings an incredible combination of professional expertise, creativity and genuine enthusiasm for serving our community. Their unique perspectives and talents will play an important role as we continue growing The Premiere Playhouse, expanding our educational programming, strengthening our relationships with patrons and supporters, and creating meaningful artistic experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. I cannot wait for our community to get to know them.”
Please join us in welcoming Samanda and Emma to The Premiere Playhouse family as we begin an exciting new chapter together!
