Happy New Year from The Premiere Playhouse team! 2021 was a year of big changes for us and we want to highlight what we accomplished and what’s coming down the pipeline.
First thing’s first, if you haven’t gotten your tickets for Lombardi, they are available now! Lombardi premiers February 3, 2022.
Looking Back:
–In August the Sioux Empire Community Theatre officially became The Premiere Playhouse.
–We wanted to try something new with our first Season 19 production of Blood Brothers and it was an absolute hit with audiences.
–Our inaugural production of A Christmas Carol sold out nearly every night and it was the biggest, most ambitious show we had ever done. We can’t wait to do it all again in December, 2022!
Looking Forward:
–Our third Season 19 production, Lombardi, is just around the corner!
–Our winter theatre camp for kindergartners – 5th graders begins on January 31st, 2022. This camp we are bringing a local author’s children’s story to life! More info here.
–If you’re an aspiring playwright, we’re looking for one-act plays for our Festival of New Plays! Submit your work before March 22 and it could receive our full production treatment!
–The first Masterclass hosted by our very own Alex Newcomb Weiland is coming up in February. If you want to get an edge while auditioning for musical theatre, sign up before slots run out!
