The Premiere Playhouse team is saddened to announce that we are canceling our upcoming Seasons 21 + 22 Celebration Concert at Icon Event Hall. We unfortunately couldn’t sell enough seats to make this event the fundraiser it was meant to be for our organization, so we have decided to cease planning and execution for the performance while redirecting our energy to our other upcoming events, which include:
Friday, May 3rd from 5:00-8:00pm
We are participating in Downtown Sioux Falls’ Art + Wine Walk where we will feature Clay Ackerman and Summer Van Veen from our production of Hair performing 1960s tunes while we serve guests wine and snacks in our offices at the Orpheum.
Saturday, June 1st from 1:00-4:00pm
We are hosting our final free workshop of the season, “Playing with Playwriting“, where aspiring writers ages 14+ will have the opportunity to explore the important fundamentals of creating an effective play with esteemed playwright/theatre artist, Dr. Joe Stollenwerk, in our offices at the Orpheum.
Thursday, June 13th through Sunday, June 23rd at various times
The run of performances for our Season 21 finale, Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical.
Ticket holders for the Celebration Concert have been contacted via email about their refund options. Join us for one of these exciting opportunities in May or June, and be on the lookout for even more exciting announcements in the coming weeks!
