Sidewalk Arts Festival

• What: Help customers sign up for a drawing and purchase tickets online at our booth! This is a fun and social event and our booth is located right outside the Washington Pavilion.
• Who: YOU
• When: Saturday, Sept 6 from 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Where: Look for our booth in front of the Washington Pavilion

Shop Cleanup

• What: Join us in re-arranging & cleaning up our scenic shop out at 704 N Helen Ave – please sign up to let us know when you would like to help out! Everyone is welcome!

Workshops:

Help Design The Orpheum’s New Mural!

• What: Your voice, your ideas, and your imagination are needed to help bring a brand-new public artwork to life in downtown Sioux Falls! On September 6th, you’re invited to work with local artist Jenae Porter and theatre professional and actor, Alexondrea Thong Vanh, to create a giant mural for the north wall of the historic Orpheum Theatre inspired all of YOU!
• Who: Theatre participants (ages 6–18)
• When: Saturday, Sept 6

BOOKKEEPING for CREATIVES

• What: Learn easy techniques to implement all year round when it comes to keeping track of your income and expenses as an independent contractor / business owner. Its easy to get caught up in the busy and fun world of making money in a job you are passionate about – let us teach you how to stay organized at the same time! After this class you will feel confident and ready for tax filing season and learn how to use some free tools for record keeping. Coffee and donuts are provided. Instruction by our own Finance & Member Manager and owner of Sumner Bookkeeping, Amber Sumner.

SPOOKY MAT MAKE & TAKE

• What: Get ready to haunt your doorstep this Halloween! Join us for a fun and creative doormat painting class where you’ll design and paint your very own festive doormat. No artistic experience? No problem! Our instructor will guide you every step of the way, helping you transform a plain doormat into a ghoulishly good greeting for your trick-or treaters. All materials provided! Tickets are $30 per person, and space is limited, so grab your spot today!
