Sharpen your choreography retention by taking the Choreography Retention Workshop which will equip you with tools to learn and retain choreography quicker for musical theater. To do this, you will learn a combination while simultaneously being taught tips and tricks that will make retaining choreography easier. Shannon’s teaching style encourages pushing limits by fostering an open environment that welcomes questions and bold choices.

What to bring: Students will need to come prepared to dance (i.e. athletic clothing, jazz shoes or character shoes, socks if need be, water)

Shannon’s commitment to technical dance training and performance was fostered through participation in programs at Broadway Dance Center, the University of Minnesota, and Main Stage Ballet and Dance Academy. One of her recent performances was at Citi Theatre in NYC for the BDC Professional Semester Showcase. Her choreography has most recently been performed in HAIR at the Premiere Playhouse. Additionally, she can be seen performing in the sixth episode of HBO Max’s reality series We’re Here, choreographed by Marvin Brown. She has also participated in various musical theater productions including Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and RENT. Shannon is currently on the roster of judges with Impact Dance Adjudicators.
