The Sioux Empire Community Theatre is hiring a PT Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director and provide administrative support. This is primarily a remote position with a flexible schedule ranging from 15 – 20 hours per week. Some in-person work may be required.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Production
Maintain master calendar
Secure royalties
Prepare audition materials
Prepare cast agreements
Prepare crew contracts
Teacher background checks
Organize camp / class registration
Marketing
Create monthly newsletter
Assist with marketing productions
Send out Mailchimp emails
Create social media content for facebook, instagram, twitter
Maintain website content via WordPress
Board of Directors
Maintain board member application
Prepare executive committee board materials
Prepare board meeting materials
Maintain board member orientation manual
Other
Human resources / New hire paperwork
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: *
Must be comfortable with IT
Graphic design experience is preferred but not required
Proficiency with Google Drive and Google Calendar required
Experience posting to various social media platforms
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines required
