Welcome Our New Development Officer – Pam Cole!

The Premiere Playhouse is excited to welcome our newest team member, Pam Cole, as Development Officer! In her position, Pam will be responsible for the coordination of our volunteer base, and execution of our outreach events and our development/fundraising efforts.

Our Managing Artistic Director, Oliver, speaks on the recent hire: “We received a sizable number of applications to fill this vacancy and interviewed quite a few candidates for the position, several of them impressive mission-minded and/or non-profit professionals. Pam stuck out to us, as her combination of an arts background and non-profit fundraising as well as volunteer coordination led to fruitful conversations in her interviews. Because of this, I am thrilled to welcome Pam to TPP’s staff and look forward to working with her on further developing our non-profit theatre and education organization.”

Let’s give Pam a warm welcome, TPP community!

About Pam

Pam brings decades of arts and humanities based experience to The Premiere Playhouse team. She’s been enthralled by live theater since—as a first grader—she saw “Arsenic and Old Lace” performed by high school actors in her hometown gym of Walhalla, North Dakota. She is excited to share her enthusiasm for locally created storytelling with the Sioux Falls community.

Pam has worked as a graphic designer, grant writer, volunteer coordinator, and served in local and state public office. As a long term resident of Brookings, she spearheaded the effort to organize the Brookings Community Theatre, and led the organization through foundational development for five years. A life long learner, Pam returned to college at South Dakota State University as a non-traditional student of history and non-profit development in her forties. She’s lived in Sioux Falls for eight years, where she’s assisted with many social and issue based policy efforts.

Pam and her husband Mike adore living in the Sioux Falls community. They have five adult children and one border collie mix in their blended family.
