Trained in the Piven Theatre
Workshop’s ensemble-based
approach, which focuses on
liberating students’ natural sense of
play through a variety of games
and techniques. It emphasizes
acting on impulse, focusing on
fellow actors, and taking risks to
build a community where students
can communicate truthfully and
wholeheartedly on stage or screen.
The method helps students
overcome self-criticism and
develop communication, listening,
and acting techniques.
