To provide individuals with tools and techniques to succeed in a musical theatre audition setting, with a specific focus on auditions for pop/rock musicals, such as Grease.

Who: Any person who would like to strengthen their vocal & auditioning skills and learn tips, tricks and methods from industry professionals.

6 spots are available for Active Participants (ages 18+) who will participate in both the group exercises and an individual coaching session with the instructors. Up to 30 spots are available for Observing Participants who will participate in the group exercises but observe the individual coaching sessions.

• 30 min: Group warm up & vocalize
• 2 hours: 20 min coaching sessions
• 30 mins: Closing comments and questions

What to bring with you:
Active Participants

• One 32 bar cut (1 minute) of a song from musical theatre or commercial music catalog, similar to the style of Grease
  • Artist Examples: Warren Smith, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Patterson, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Wanda Jackson
  • Musical Examples: All Shook Up, Cry-Baby, The Wonderettes
  • Bring 2 printed copies of your music (If you do not have access to a printer please email us and we can arrange to help you out.)
  • Please send a digital copy of the sheet music to [email protected] for our live accompanist and coaches
